Wow, it’s been more than a month since our last Slife 2.0 update.

Truth is, we’ve been working really hard to make this release as best as it can be. Never doubt those who say that the last 10% of the product take 90% of the time. That’s so true! The details count so much, and getting that last design or interaction just right requires a lot of experimentation. Luckily, we’ve working with an awesome group of beta testers, who are giving us tons of great feedback.

You see these screenshots from early April? Quite a bit has changed, especially the side frame, which is much cleaner now. We are trying to simplify the UI as much as we can. We are also including a super short ‘getting started’ guide, so that those who are not familiar with Slife can get up and running quickly.

As a companion to Slife 2.0, we will be announcing a new web product as well, which will be aimed primarily at groups and small businesses. If Slife can help you manage your time and activities at the individual level, this new web app will help you do that at the group level. The integration between the web app and Slife is taking a bit of time, but it will be really cool when it’s done.

Finally, we are also going to be making some pricing changes to Slife when version 2.0 comes out. I think the change will be good news to pretty much everyone. Stay tuned!

We can’t wait to get Slife 2.0 out there. We are shooting for a public beta release around mid-June, if not a bit sooner.

We found out recently that the Slifeshare API has been included in the awesome uber-aggregator of web APIs and everything mashups, ProgrammableWeb.

Wanna check the Slifeshare page at ProgrammableWeb? Here it is.

Thanks for the folks at PW for the inclusion.
