A couple of days ago, we learnt from users that the Slife 3.0 Mac client was unable to run on PowerPC machines. We ran the app through some quick tests and confirmed the issue.

The problem was very simple to solve (build configuration), and we already uploaded a new version of the Slife Mac client that runs on PowerPC Macs without a hitch. You can download it from your Slife Web account page. Just click on the ‘Download’ button. The app version has been bumped to v3.0.1.

Today or tomorrow, we will also post a small update to the Slife v2.0 client. Since there are thousands of people still running it, and we’ve made some improvements in some core areas (rolled into Slife 3.0), we’ve decided it made sense to issue one last update before we put the app in open source mode. This “point” version will come through auto-update only.
